Leeds United beat Middlesbrough at the Riverside on Wednesday night to take another step towards promotion to the Premier League. Mateusz Klich’s strike in first-half stoppage time proved to be the difference as Marcelo Bielsa’s side registered their third victory in their last three Championship fixtures.
On the opposite side was the former Whites midfielder Jonathan Howson. The 31-year-old came through at Leeds and made 219 appearances in the famous white strip before leaving for Norwich City in January 2012.

What do we think?
Given his history with the club, we can assume that Howson wants the best for Leeds United but that’s not to say his professionalism should be questioned. These Leeds fans clearly still hold the Middlesbrough man in high regard despite more than eight years having passed since he last represented the Whites.
