A lot of Leeds United fans are happy with the referee appointment for their match with Reading on Saturday.
Jarred Gillett is an Australian who came over to England last year and took charge of one Championship match, and this season he has overseen a further 17.
Are you happy with this referee appointment?
Yes
Who cares?
He is famous because, in the A-League, he was once hooked up with a microphone so the audience could hear why he made his decisions.
Gillett, while in Australia, was named as Referee of the Year on five different occasions, and these Whites fans are excited to see him on Saturday.
Not many stats for Saturday's referee. The ref for our home game v Reading will be Australian, Jarred Gillett. He made 3 league appearances last year after arriving here from the Australian A- League and this will be his first visit to Elland Road as a match day official. #lufc pic.twitter.com/aAlttMwbKO

Interesting. Was wondering if and when we may get him officiating. Seems to be one they have a fair bit of faith in him. Still waiting for Mr Jeremy Simpson to drop in on us again. Sure we haven’t had him since the brentford home game last season.

What do we think?
Gillett has dished out 68 yellow cards and two red cards this season, and his reputation stands him out as a good referee (per Derby Telegraph).
However, the only way of knowing if he is good or not is if, by Saturday evening, the only thing being discussed is the result and not his performance.
