A lot of Leeds United fans have responded to Phil Hay’s tweet about Erling Braut Haaland after he scored two goals in Borussia Dortmund’s 2-1 win over Paris Saint-Germain in the Champions League.
Haaland was born in Leeds and has admitted in the past that his dream is to win the Premier League with the Whites.
Did Leeds ever have a chance of getting Haaland?
Yes
No
However, a move never materialised, and he is now scoring goals for fun for Dortmund.
Since he left Red Bull Salzburg for a move to Germany, the 19-year-old has scored 11 goals in seven matches.
This has made some Leeds fans reflect and feel that they missed out on signing a potential superstar.
It’s not even hype with Haaland. Genuinely that good

What do we think?
Haaland was linked with a move to Elland Road in 2019, however, nothing came of it, and he is now on the way to becoming a world-class striker.
His second goal against PSG was a cracker as he hit a shot that whistled past Keylor Navas and flew into the top corner of the net. (3:43)
What might have been for Leeds?
