A lot of Leeds United fans have heaped praise on Charlie Cresswell.
Does Cresswell deserve a chance in the first team?
Yes, but not yet
No, too raw
The Whites’ Under-18s narrowly lost to Manchester United in the FA Youth Cup, but the performance of the Leeds captain stood out for many Whites supporters, who liked what they saw from the young defender.
Young Charlie Cresswell was the pick for me – he’s only just 17 as well but what a strong CB he’s going to be!

Certainly won most headers I recall, something the 1st team could do with ?

What do we think?
Leeds Under-18s played in front of 1,400 travelling supporters and put in a strong performance, but they slipped to a 1-0 defeat.
However, it seems that Cresswell impressed and it looks he has throughout the season.
Charlie is the son of former Leeds striker Richard, while it seems that he is good on the ball and is confident in carrying the ball out from the back and bringing others into play. It looks as though Cresswell has all of the attributes needed to become a top-class defender, but he is still very young, and he will need guidance to grow as a footballer as he strives to feature for the first team.
