A lot of Leeds United fans have responded to Graham Smyth’s update on the Kiko Casilla case.
The Yorkshire Evening Post reporter claims that the Spaniard’s racism case could be finally heard by the FA next week.
Do you think Casilla will be banned?
Yes
No
This follows a report in the Daily Telegraph that has claimed Casilla’s case will be heard over the 18th and 19th of February.
This case is over a racism charge for an incident that happened in September last year, and finally, the FA look to have got round to making their decision.
Casilla was charged with using racist language towards Jonathan Leko during the Whites’ 1-0 defeat to Charlton Athletic.
The 33-year-old denies the charge but, if found guilty, could face a six-game ban, and this has some Leeds fans discussing ban for their goalkeeper.
The FA, as ever, are unable to comment on ongoing disciplinary cases, but The Telegraph report that Kiko Casilla could finally appear before the game's authorities next week.https://t.co/bzD8IIrVKv#lufc

At last! No excuse for his poor form but this hanging over him for so long can’t of been easy to deal with.

Unreal that an investigation can take so long. If guilty I expect the club to sack him. Cannot deal with racism in the game.

Hope they sort it soon, one way or the other …. he’s obviously being affected by it!!

If found innocent the FA should be taken to task over the length of time it’s taken the poor lads form has obviously been adversely affected, and for that matter the one who reported it should be punished.

Totally out of order.

Joke how long this has been going on, I’m not making excuses for him but could this be a reason why he’s not been off it?

It’s last year’s spygate all over. Will do anything to prevent us gaining promotion

What do we think?
Casilla is in bad form at the moment, having recorded a save percentage of 47.7% since Leeds drew 3-3 with Cardiff City, and these Leeds fans seem to think that this case has not helped his form.
It looks like we will finally have a conclusion to this ongoing saga next week.
