Aston Villa fans have been responding on Twitter to the latest claims surrounding Jack Grealish’s Villa Park exit.
This comes after Villa journalist Ashley Preece shared a post on his official Twitter account suggesting that there is “absolutely no chance” that Grealish is thinking of moving away from the Birmingham club.
Can Villa afford to let Grealish leave this summer?
Yes, he can move on
No, keep him at all costs
This post then gathered a number of replies from Villa fans who were eager to share their thoughts on this latest development on their man.

Source? I can’t see him staying beyond this season unfortunately & it’s probably for the best as far as his development/career is concerned 🙁

The Englishman has been Villa’s star man so far this season. In 27 appearances for the club, Grealish has scored nine goals and provided seven assists in all competitions (per Transfermarkt). This record so far this campaign has seen the 24-year-old get a season rating of 7.42 for his Premier League performances according to WhoScored. In recent weeks, Grealish has been linked with a move away from Villa to Manchester United, Real Madrid and Barcelona. Now that Preece has claimed that Grealish is not thinking about leaving the club just yet, this has prompted a lot of Villa fans to pipe up with their thoughts on Grealish’s situation at the club and what the future has in store for him.
One fan even stated they can see him being a Steven Gerrard, which relates to him playing the majority of his career on Merseyside (710 appearances).
I can see him being a “Gerrard” and staying with Villa, then going to America

If we stay up there is no way he will leave. Especially if we win the cup.

If we stay up and we match his ambition and start signing decent players I recon he could stay, anything less then he will be of!

What do we think?
Given how prominent and crucial Grealish has been for Villa this season, the Villa fans will surely be over the moon with the latest news claiming he isn’t thinking about moving away from the club. But with Dean Smith’s side currently hovering over the relegation zone in 17th place in the Premier League table, you’d think that Villa’s possible relegation could be a factor in whether Grealish moves on from the club in the upcoming summer transfer window.
