A lot of Leeds United fans are appalled by the reverse angle of Sammy Ameobi’s opener against the Whites during their 2-0 defeat to Nottingham Forest.
The former Newcastle United winger picked up a pass and drove into the box, hitting a powerful effort towards the near post.
Who should start in goal against Brentford for Leeds?
Casilla
Meslier
The Spaniard may have been taken by surprise, but he still perhaps should have saved the shot.
Instead, the ball squirmed between him and the post and nestled in the net.
This footage has not gone down well with these Leeds fans, who are furious with Casilla.

He jumps away from blocking it.

That’s surely a regular everyday save he’s got to make ? no way should he get beaten there!!!

Done at his near post again. Sorry not good enough.

Just disgraceful. No pressure literally just gas to stand in the way of it.

What do we think?
This was a poor effort from Casilla to save Ameobi’s shot, and unfortunately for him, it was the latest in a long line of errors.
Last week, he failed to clear Joe Williams’ corner that deflected off Pablo Hernandez and looped into the net. (1:05)
He also was beaten at his near post by a Jacob Murphy effort (1:45) in Sheffield Wednesday’s 2-0 win at Elland Road.
Leeds fans have every right to be annoyed with their goalkeeper at the moment.
