A lot of Leeds United fans have reacted to Marcelo Bielsa’s quotes about people outside of the club losing faith in what his team are trying to achieve.
Have you lost faith in what Bielsa is doing?
Yes
No
The Argentine did not specifically say who he meant, but some fans of the club believe that he was referring to a section of Whites fans who are starting to fear that they won’t get promoted again.
Bielsa indicating that people on the outside of the club are losing faith in his team. "But we believe in our team. We believe more than ever in ourselves." #lufc

Make me sick that he feels this way. Greatest Manager Leeds have had for a long time. Some fans have no clue.

I believe just a section of negative fans Long way to go

FYI: he’s calling out the pathetic sections of the fan base that can’t handle results over a season without crying like babies. Time to support the team, if you’re incapable just stay away bc the neg heads aren’t helping, they’re making it so much worse.

Only the minority!

Other Leeds supporters, though, think they are entitled to express their worries at a poor run of form.
Some people are realistic & make fair comments. These people are classed as ‘losing faith’. Some people see everything through Leeds tinted glasses, ignore logic, over hype everything. Those are seen as ‘keeping faith’… Frustrating that realistic fans aren’t allowed an opinion

I don’t think that’s surprising given our abysmal form and particularly after last season’s implosion!
— WeAllLoveLeeds (@AllLoveLeeds) February 6, 2020
The reduction in our points lead for a second season running is bound to test one’s faith.

I’ve already lost faith if I’m honest. This season has all the hallmarks of last season. Shame, but I have absolutely no expectations of us going up and can see us blowing up massively.

What do we think?
Bielsa seems to be convinced that some people are starting to lose faith in him and the team, and this statement appears to be one of defiance that the squad believe they can do it.
To be fair to those fans who are worried, the Whites have only won two of their last nine league games, and one of them was a 5-4 victory over Birmingham City and the other a 3-2 win over Millwall.
Leeds have not had a comfortable result since a 2-0 win over Hull City on December the 10th.
It seems that since that horrific collapse against Cardiff City that the Whites have struggled to string any form together.
They currently have a three-point gap to third place and know that a win over Nottingham Forest is a must if they are to pull away from the chasing pack.
Now is not the time to lose faith, but it is understandable why some supporters are worried.
