These Leeds United fans slate Patrick Bamford after his disappointing performance against Queens Park Rangers.
The Whites lost 1-0 to QPR after Nahki Wells scored in the 20th minute to seal the victory for the west London side.
However, these Peacocks fans were pointing their fingers at Bamford for his poor performance against Rangers. Bamford finished the match with a mediocre WhoScored rating of 6.0/10, but could only hit the target twice from six shots in total.
Here are some of the comments from the Leeds fans on Twitter:
Absolutely awful from Bamford! Beyond a joke now. He might work hard but his job is to score… #LUFC

I have always defended Bamford, but he has been a passenger today, and we have no alternative, none, not a single player to replace him
Thats awful recruitment

Why oh why if the management are serious about getting into the premier league don’t they stop dragging their heels and sign a PROVEN goalscorer bamford has cost us another game missed an awful penalty ,several chances a proven goalscorer would snap up he’s only got 10 goals

No Excuses Bamford was an absolute Disgrace and the writing is on the wall unless 3 solid professional players are signed the team has too many mentally weak players. Ref was a disgrace how Wells stayed on the field is beyond belief refs hate the sight of Leeds https://t.co/uBiVZ2V50t

Is Patrick Bamford awful?
Yes
No
These Leeds fans are clearly frustrated with Bamford, who is valued by Transfermarkt at £5.40m. However, the forward still has managed to score 10 times in 26 Championship starts so far this season.
Need options up top. Bamford awful, again. Sky commentators saying Che Adam’s deal not dead. On to the next. #LUFC

What Do We Think?
Bamford has proven that he can score goals at Championship level this season, with 10 goals in 26 starts that’s hardly the worst form ever. Perhaps these Leeds fans just want more from their striker each game, and they might be on to something.
