These Leeds United fans are unhappy that the Che Adams loan deal seems to have taken a big blow after Southampton manager Ralph Hasenhuttl’s comments.
According to Leeds Live, Ralph Hasenhuttl has commented on the potential loan deal, saying: “I cannot consider that I loan him out because I need every player, especially in the attacking position, we don’t have that many.”
Interestingly, the attacker has been linked with a move to Elland Road.
Che Adams has featured 15 times for Southampton in the Premier League this season, but the Englishman has only been able to turn these appearances into one assist and zero goals.
The comments were relayed to these Leeds United fans on Twitter by Beren Cross, here’s what the Peacocks fans had to say about the blow:
Something of a blow for anyone in the market for Che Adams. Hasenhuttl: “I cannot consider that I loan him out because I need every player, especially in the attacking position, we don’t have that many.” Doesn’t mean things can’t change, but clear as it stands. #lufc

Who would you rather join Leeds United?
Che Adams
Glenn Murray
Southampton paid £15.03m for Che Adams from Birmingham City in July 2019, which might be another reason why they are hesitant to loan the striker out – something some fans feel may have been the reason as to why he isn’t available.
Oh quelle surprise. In other words he never was available

What Do We Think?
This is an unfortunate turn of events from Leeds United’s point of view, but it’s likely that Che Adams would have been playing as a backup for Patrick Bamford, with the Leeds striker playing 25 matches in the Championship under Marcelo Bielsa. Something that may not have suited Adams anyway.
