A lot of Leeds United fans have responded to Alan Nixon’s tweet in which he claims the Whites want to take Luke Freeman from Sheffield United in this transfer window.
The former QPR man only moved to Bramall Lane last summer for a then club-record fee of £6m.
Would Freeman be a good signing for Leeds?
Yes, quality proven Championship player
No, not a position Leeds need to strengthen
However, he has really struggled for game time as the Blades have impressed in the Premier League with a regular starting XI that often sees John Fleck start ahead of Freeman.
This has led to the Whites registering an interest in taking Freeman to Elland Road, and this deal has excited many Leeds fans.
Leeds. Taking a big interest in Luke Freeman at Sheff U. Would be a handy addition. Poss loan or buy. Not getting much chance with Blades since joining. Also looking at Woodrow at Barnsley. Difficult.

Be buzzing with freeman. Baller in this league!!

Freeman would be great for us. Exactly type we need to play the number 10 role and give us some spark when Pablo out. Pablo could be used sparingly then and not burn out.

Id take Freeman he’s quality and I wouldn’t imagine he’d cost very much if it was to be permanent ……..

One fan even begged Victor Orta to get the deal done quickly, which suggests just how much a number 10 is required at Leeds United, with Samu Saiz no longer at Elland Road and Tyler Roberts struggling in recent times.
Great signing, get it done quick orta

Should have snapped him up last year

What do we think?
Last season for QPR, the 27-year-old scored eight goals and provided six assists, and Chris Wilder was delighted to sign him.
The move to Bramall Lane, though, just has not worked out, and Freeman has only made 11 appearances for the Blades, and in that time, he has not scored or provided a single assist.
Freeman, who is valued at £4.5m by Transfermarkt, is proven in the Championship, and if Leeds were to seal his signature, he could be a handy addition.
