A lot of Leeds United fans have reacted to Chris Sutton’s tweet about Leeds’ performance in their 1-0 defeat to Arsenal in the FA Cup.
The BT Sport pundit claimed that the Whites will be a great addition to the Premier League.
Is Chris Sutton right to be so confident about Leeds' promotion hopes
Yes, they are an excellent side
No, still a long way to go
The former Celtic striker, therefore, seems very confident that Leeds will be back in the top-flight next season.
This tweet went down brilliantly with a lot of Whites supporters but some feel that they still need a striker.
Leeds United showed tonight what a great addition they will be to the Premier League…

THANKS CHRIS…imagine us next season…promoted, owned by QSI or some billionaire group…strengthened by 3,4 top players, our younger players stronger, more experienced … Bielsa working with much stronger group…6 – 8000 fans at every away game,ER full every home game…top 6 ?

Short of a finisher Chris don’t you think ? Bamford is a decent forward but not clinical enough

We can’t score goals Chris, I have seen that first half dozens of times.. Our 2nd top goalscorer is that lad from Workington ‘Own Goal’ …!!

Other Leeds fans were happy with their performance.
It was the perfect result. @GaryLineker The FA Cup is at best a distraction and a risk to squad health when driving for promotion. @LUFC disemboweled the Arsenal in the first half & but for a lack of clinical finishing would have been 2 or 3 up. We lost by 1 jammy goal. Perfect!

We played class today and didn’t even have our best squad out. Several Young players with their first debut to see how they fit within the system. Think our great play shocked arsenal so they came out very hard second half. Scruffy goal. Proud of Leeds! Now focus on the league !

What do we think?
Leeds for the first 45 minutes were superb and barring the crossbar and a couple of saves from Emiliano Martinez, the Whites would have had a lead.
Leeds, though, deserve credit for their performance and with a nine-point gap between them and third Sutton’s prediction might just come true.
