A lot of Leeds United fans have reacted to Marcelo Bielsa’s comments on transfers and the work that Victor Orta is doing to try and bring players in.
Bielsa, speaking at his weekly press conference, said that Orta is working very hard and that Andrea Radrizzani fully supports their efforts.
Is Bielsa right to defend Victor Orta?
Yes, no point digging him out in public
No, he is failing to do his job
The Argentine also claimed that if the Whites do not get in the players he wants, then it will not be for lack of effort.
However, these Leeds fans appear to have had enough of Orta, and some want him sacked if he does not get the signings that the Whites need.
Bielsa on transfers: "We're aware that we have to replace players. Victor Orta is working very hard to resolve this. The president supports the needs of the team. If we cannot resolve it, it is not going to be for a lack of effort or because someone is not engaged."

Orta’s vast network of contacts seems to extend as far as Boro. Reckon Bielsa’s got the Man City connection through Pep.

Not good enough, plans should have been in place and a slam dunk in cone January. Sloppy work Leeds

We can only judge Orta by his results. At the moment he hasn’t produced any.

Orta has till the end of the window and if he fails to sign a ST he can leave the club because he’s failed. If he can’t do he’s job, then he should be sacked.

Any chance we can replace Orta as well

Every other team manages it. So, there’s only one conclusion one can reach. Orta is bad at his job.

Tell him to work harder and faster then.

What do we think?
Bielsa has said that he wants a striker to replace Eddie Nketiah and a winger to replace Jack Clarke.
Che Adams was the top striker target but, at the moment, Southampton are refusing to budge on that one.
Clarke, who has just joined QPR on loan till the end of the season, only played once in the league, but Bielsa still wants a winger.
That player looks like it could be Ian Poveda, who was due at Thorp Arch today for discussions.
However, the search for a striker goes on.
