A lot of Leeds United fans are confused with Mikel Arteta’s comments on Eddie Nketiah after Arsenal decided to recall him from Elland Road due to a lack of game time.
The new Arsenal boss said, “The environment he’s been in has improved him as a player 100 percent.”

He also said that Nketiah “Played minutes, not as much as we wanted.”
The former Gunners captain was also full of praise for Leeds and Marcelo Bielsa as he claimed that he wanted to see the Whites promoted and that he was a big admirer of Marcelo Bielsa.
However, it is Arteta’s Nketiah comments that have sparked the most debate amongst many Leeds fans.
Arteta on Nketiah: "The environment he's been in has improved him as a player, 100 per cent. He played minutes, not as much as we wanted, but he's a kid with incredible potential and we have to make a decision for the club, not for the next four months but for his career." #lufc

What do we think?
Nketiah played 500 minutes for Leeds in the Championship, but ultimately it was the lack of starts that ensured Arsenal recalled him.
Bielsa was disappointed to lose him, but he could not continue to be used as an impact substitute, and he will now be sent out on loan to another Championship club.
Bristol City lead the race, but others like Brentford and Sheffield Wednesday have an interest in his services.
The 20-year-old unfortunately did not fit in at Elland Road, but he is sure to thrive at another Championship club.
