A lot of Celtic fans have rejected one fan’s suggestion that the club should re-sign Anthony Stokes.
The former Celtic striker is without a club after he was released by Adana Demirspor and is now looking for a new place to play football.
Would Stokes be a good signing for Celtic?
Yes
No
Stokes spent six years at Celtic Park and scored 76 goals and provided 64 assists in 192 appearances.
This is a good record, but it seems that many Hoops fans have dismissed Stokes as a possible signing.

What do we think?
The 31-year-old, who is valued at £630k by Transfermarkt, had a good spell at Celtic, but he has spent the last few years at Tractor FC, and it seems like his best days are well past him now.
Celtic need signings but surely someone young and hungry would be a better option than Stokes.
The former Sunderland man was a good player, but it is probably time to move on from him now.
It remains to be seen who the Hoops sign, but Stokes is very unlikely to be one of those who arrive in Glasgow.
