A lot of Leeds United fans have responded to an alleged update on Che Adams’ situation at Southampton.
A tweet from Jimmy McCann, who is a semi-retired football agent, claims that Adams is a huge target for Leeds, and the 23-year-old wants to move to Elland Road.
He claims that Southampton are playing hardball and want a hefty loan fee but that there should be movement in the next couple of days.
This has caused many Leeds fans to fear another Dan James situation.

What do we think?
Last season Leeds had agreed a deal in principle with Swansea for James.
The player had even posed for photos before the transfer collapsed right at the death of the transfer window.
The young winger returned to Swansea and earned a move to Manchester United.
So, it is understandable that many Leeds fans want to avoid a similar situation with Adams.
However, this latest update is positive because it claims the former Birmingham City man wants the move.
Adams, who is valued at £10.8m by Transfermarkt, scored 22 goals for Birmingham last season, and if he were to join the Whites, then they would be signing a player who has a proven goalscoring record at Championship level.
He could be the man to fire Leeds to promotion.
