A lot of Leeds United fans are worried that their team is 11 points clear of third place, and they have won seven in a row.
Will Leeds fail to get promoted from this position?
Yes, they will find a way
No, they will see it through
This is because many are anticipating a second half of the season collapse.
11 points clear of third. This is brilliant and utterly terrifying. #LUFC

I am worried. It feels so strange that Leeds life can be this okay! I take it the queasy feeling is from altitude sickness.

I feel nervous.

I can’t cope. I didn’t want to care this much again.

The fall is going to be the greatest yet, disappointing such a great man in Bielsa. Either that or by the time Kikos ban is over we will be level on points with 3rd place ?

Other Whites supporters cannot believe how well they are doing, and they just want their team to see it through and gain promotion.
Let’s get it all over and finished by New Year ??

Great being in this position. We have a lovely cushion. Lets hope the run continues through Xmas. ???

Some Leeds fans want to know how many points they need to be safe from relegation.
Can we still go down??
— Robert Hunt (@RobTheLeedsFan) December 10, 2019
Just four more points until were safe from relegation and focus on laying a claim to that 15th spot

What do we think?
Leeds have, in the past, messed up promotion chases.
Last year the Whites looked unstoppable until Christmas, and then they fell away and were pipped to an automatic promotion spot by Sheffield United.
This season, though, could be different because the Whites have improved their squad, and Marcelo Bielsa has learned from his mistakes last season.
The defence is brilliant to concede only ten goals in 21 matches is fantastic, and Bielsa deserves immense credit for keeping things tight at the back.
It is easy to see why many Leeds fans are worried because they have failed from similar positions before, but this season the squad is wiser and crucially do not concede many goals.
If they can continue to keep things tight at the back, then they should have the quality going forward to score enough goals and seal that desired promotion back to the top-flight.
