Many other Whites fans have picked out Ben White as the reason for the immense defensive record.
And that’s without the great Pontus Jansson that everyone feared losing! Welcome Ben White

What do we think?
No one can argue with their defensive record – ten goals in 19 matches is a superb effort, and it proves that Marcelo Bielsa was right to let Pontus Jansson leave and replace him with the fantastic Ben White.
The 22-year-old has had a brilliant season so far, averaging a 7.24 rating in the Championship (WhoScored), and it is no wonder that a number of clubs are looking at him.
Another reason for the improved defence is the fact that Kiko Casilla has finally adapted to the league, and when called upon, he has made some big saves for the Whites.
If they can keep up this outstanding defensive record, then surely Marcelo Bielsa’s men will be back in the top-flight next season.
