A lot of Leeds United fans have reacted to the news from Phil Hay that involves Matej Vydra.
The Burnley striker has been linked with a move to the Whites in recent days, but the man from the Athletic has dismissed the move.
Who would you rather have as striker for Leeds?
Vydra
Bamford
Nketiah
This has worried many Leeds United fans who are concerned about the lack of striking options.
Vydra’s name been doing the rounds for the past week or so but that definitely won’t be happening. Leeds will stick with their frontline as it is next month provided Nketiah stays. #lufc

I swear to god if Nketiah leaves

Still worries me that we haven’t learnt from Christmas pasts !!!

Ie club learned nothing from last season and has an owner who refuses – yet again – to spend on first team. Let’s hope we get NO INJURIES – more than a gamble!

And when there’s an injury or a suspension to one or more of the frontline, which proven goalscorer is going to step up as a replacement?

What’s that about insanity doing the same thing and expecting a different outcome?

What do we think?
Vydra is a proven goalscorer in the Championship having scored 64 goals for both Derby County and Watford, but he has turned down a move to Elland Road on a few occasions and also cannot get in the Burnley side.
Marcelo Bielsa loves Patrick Bamford because of his work rate and ability to link up play even if he is not the best finisher.
So would Vydra’s style work in a Bielsa team? It seems unlikely that it would.
Vydra is a player Leeds have wanted in the past, but at this point, it would be better to avoid signing him, and should Nketiah go back to Arsenal, look for someone else instead.
