A lot of Leeds United fans are in shock at a new stat revealed by LUFCDATA that shows just how good they are at defending.
The Whites have managed to stop their opponents from creating a single big chance in 11 of the 21 matches they have played.

Last season most of preseason was spent conditioning players fitness, this year they already had that base so have been able to spend more time on the tactical side.

What do we think?
This stat shows just how much control Leeds have had over certain matches this season, and the fact that they have only conceded ten goals all season suggests that the defence has had some serious work put into it over the summer.
However, out of the ten goals the Whites have conceded five have come from these 11 where they haven’t conceded a big chance.
So, while it is an impressive statistic, they have still managed to concede goals from teams not having a big chance.
Leeds have had an excellent season, and one of the main reasons for this is the superb defence – as ten goals conceded shows.
This is surely the only real defensive statistic that matters.
So, while many Leeds fans are pleased with this big chance stat, the only one they should be concerned about is the goals against column – which at the moment is very impressive.
