A lot of Leeds United fans have reacted to Liam Cooper’s tweet after he led his side to a 5-4 victory over Birmingham City.
Were you impressed with Cooper's display?
Yes, he led Leeds to another victory
No, he lost control of the match
The Leeds captain praised his team’s spirit and character, but many Leeds fans do not want to see a similar game again all season.
Some might say the @LUFC way! CHARACTER and SPIRIT was unbelievable.. ALAW ?? pic.twitter.com/2GKTvFCpsk

Thanks for the excitement Liam, but I would like to live to see our promotion, so any chance of a clean sheet at the Hawthorns? Please?

Happy New Year Liam to you and the rest of the team. You don’t half put us through it… 3 points on Wednesday would be the perfect way to start 2020. ??

What do we think?
This was a mad game, and Leeds will be relieved that it is over as defensively they were all over the place.
Kiko Casilla had a poor afternoon in goal, and the two full-backs, while brilliant going forward, were badly exposed in defence.
Cooper and Ben White, who have for most of the season, looked commanding and calm were shaky in the second half and struggled to deal with crosses into the box.
Cooper had a slightly better afternoon than White as he played an important part in the first goal.
Birmingham launched the ball into the box, but the 28-year-old thumped a header away and into the path of Jack Harrison, and he found Helder Costa, who rifled a fine strike into the bottom corner. (0:10)
This was not a vintage Leeds performance defensively, but they found a way to win, and that is the crucial thing.
The Whites will begin 2020 at the top of the table, knowing that they are in the prime position to win promotion.
