Supporters of Everton have reacted to a report which has suggested that the Toffees are lining up a potential January swoop for Juventus’ Adrien Rabiot.
According to Foot Mercato, the Merseyside club have held talks with the Frenchman’s mother, who is his agent, over a potential transfer (via The Gwladys Street), which delighted some fans.

Would Adrien Rabiot be a good signing for Carlo Ancelotti's Everton side?Yes, he has real classNo, over-hyped player |
What do we think?
In nine Serie A appearances so far this term, the 24-year-old middleman has a weak average rating of 6.52/10 (per Whoscored), which is, understandably, not filling every supporter with delight.
Although, Ancelotti may have been able to keep more of a closer eye on him during his time in at Napoli, with Juventus obviously operating in the same country.
Of course, the Toffees already have the likes of Fabian Delph, Jean Philippe-Gbamin, Gylfi Sigurdsson, Morgan Schneiderlin and Andre Gomes when fit, so it’s not as if they’re short on options.
