After chief football writer for the Yorkshire Evening Post, Graham Smyth, sent a tweet out praising QPR defender Lee Wallace, these Leeds United fans were quick to point out Patrick Bamford’s poor finishing.
The striker hasn’t scored or assisted in his last 10 league games, leaving many fans frustrated with the 26-year-old.
Bamford has scored just four goals in 15 Championship matches, despite the lack of goals the Englishman has managed to win two man of the match awards, as per WhoScored.

He runs around a lot. How dare you

A more confident striker chips that in on his preferred foot.

Gotta say …. should have scored … great pass from Klich

Why would a left footed striker (in a painful goal drought) shift it onto his week foot when he could just slip it in first time? This isn’t bad luck, this is a average player who struggles with finishing. BuT hE RuNs LoAdS!

Although Bamford has an average WhoScored rating of 6.6/10 in the Championship so far this season, there are many that feel the 26-year-old’s performances have been well-below-par and continued to question his ability as a forward.
A decent striker would’ve scored that. He’s not quick footed or quick think is he

Bamfords still sliding that wide

Should have shot with his left!!!

Why isn’t he hitting that first time or chipping him

What Do We Think?
Bamford is in very bad form right now, but he might just need to get one goal for the rest to then start flowing again.
The 26-year-old played all 90 minutes against QPR, which shows Marcelo Bielsa hasn’t lost hope in the striker just yet, although the fans certainly have not been as friendly towards their current leading man.
