Chelsea fans have taken to Twitter to share their disappointment with the recent news of Mason Mount’s injury after their draw against Ajax.
This came after the official Chelsea Twitter account shared a post of manager Frank Lampard’s comments made straight after the 4-4 draw to Ajax on Tuesday. The Blues boss said Mount had his ankle strapped up and hopes that his injury is minor.
This tweet then led to some Chelsea fans giving their thoughts on the Englishman’s injury:
Phew
Hoping Mason is fine…might rest him for Palace with international break coming up.

What do we think?
Mount will be a big loss for Chelsea depending on the seriousness of his injury. So far this season in the Premier League, Mount has made 11 appearances, scoring four goals and assisting twice (per Transfermarkt).
As an attacking threat, Mount is a big help to Chelsea, as so far this season he has recorded an average of 2.6 shots per game (per WhoScored).
