Leeds United and Luton Town haven’t met since August 2016 in the League Cup, with the Whites walking away as 1-0 winners.
Luton are currently struggling in 21st place whereas Leeds are flying high in third. The Peacocks also have a very impressive head-to-head record against The Hatters, winning 67% of the last six meetings. 44% of the goals Leeds have conceded come from set-pieces.
Leeds have conceded the fewest goals from open play in the top four tiers of English football this season (4). Luton have conceded the joint-most goals from open play (25) in the Championship along with Stoke City. #LUFC #MOT pic.twitter.com/U5feIg3IRk

Despite the stat being in Leeds’ favour, none of these fans seemed particularly happy with LUFCDATA ‘jinxing’ them before Saturday.

What Do We Think?
We highly doubt a Twitter post is going to have much of an effect in a game that Leeds should be winning based on previous data and current form, however, fans always try to find something negative to cling onto just in case. Indeed, Marcelo Bielsa is going to have to set up his group of players in the best possible way if they are to continue their pursuit for promotion to the Premier League without any hiccups.
