The build-up to Leeds United’s second goal against Blackburn Rovers caught the attention of many adoring fans when the club posted a short video onto their official Twitter page.

Kalvin Phillips, Patrick Bamford and Jack Harrison linked up to put Leeds United 2-0 up, which was a pattern of play that many Leeds fans enjoyed rewatching on Twitter.

The forward ended his poor form of not scoring or assisting in his last 10 matches when laying it on a plate for the goalscorer Harrison.

The winger now has 3 goals and four assists in 16 Championship matches, as per WhoScored, whilst fans had felt that there was some confidence finally flowing through their £10m forward (BBC).

What Do We Think?

The move sums up how well the Leeds United squad is gelling this season. Phillips knew exactly where Bamford would be, meaning this is probably a play out of Marcelo Bielsa’s brain. The win kept Leeds’ in third place in the Championship table.

Harrison continues to be in great form, getting two goals and four assists in his last six matches. Should all three men continuing to play as well as they did against Blackburn for the rest of the season, it would be hard not to see Elland Road hosting Premier League football next season.
