Leeds United fans call for 18-year-old Ryan Edmondson to be given a chance in the first team after his U23’s performance.
Edmondson joined from York City U19 in November 2017 and has since played for Leeds United’s U18’s and U23’s, which is where he has caught the eyes of many fans who are now calling for the 18-year-old to appear for the first team.
The youngster has only appeared twice in the Championship this season.

Why isnt Edmondson in first team, its bewildering. he scores for fun at u23 level. It might be just what first team needs pace , the will. Hes a natural goal scorer.

What Do We Think?
We feel that a spot on the bench should be at least enough for Edmondson, as he’s only 18 years old so being thrown straight in at the deep end could be costly for him and Leeds. Right now, the Peacocks can’t allow for rookie mistakes when trying to push for promotion, but 10-15 minutes off the bench should be more than enough for the young man to get his foot in the door and potentially show Marcelo Bielsa what he can bring to the club in front of the bright lights at Elland Road.
