Leeds United must get pulses racing by signing Fulham’s tricky winger Floyd Ayite as he might be available for a very reasonable price given his contract scenario.

The Whites could clearly do with some fresh faces on their flanks and there would be few better options to take than the 30-year-old currently being denied regular opportunities to feature in the Premier League for Fulham.

Ayite has only managed 10 appearances across all competitions this season despite showing glimpses of the fact that he can be a handful for defences due to his pace and ability to pull off skill moves that leave his opponents scrambling.

The 30-year-old has plenty of Championship experience having played 59 times in the division and playing a very notable part in helping Fulham win promotion from England’s second-tier last season.

Ayite featured 28 times in the league for Fulham last season, being involved with five goals in process, and was a player capable not just of exciting fans due to his style, but one who was capable of making a positive impact even when games were going against his side.

While the winger, who can be deployed on either flank, did get a chance to feature for Fulham against Oldham on Sunday with his contract on course to expire in June 2019, may see the club be willing to part with him in January.

According to Football.London, Ayite is in the final six months of his deal and while the Premier League side have an option to automatically extend his stay by a year, they are yet to do so.

This means that if Leeds launch an enquiry at the very least right now then they could easily tempt Fulham into selling their tricky winger to them for a reasonable price, which in turn would improve their current squad.
