OPINION
There is no doubt that one of the team Leeds United fans are worried about in the automatic promotion race is West Brom. The Baggies climbed to third in the Championship after coming from behind to win 2-1 at fourth-placed Sheffield United on Friday night. Plenty of Leeds fans were watching the televised match and keeping abreast of events which have a major bearing on their team’s open promotion tilt. The result means the gap between West Brom and Leeds has now been narrowed to three points, although Marcelo Bielsa’s side host second-from-bottom Bolton Wanderers later in the day. Leeds are understandably wary of West Brom building up momentum. They have a strong squad, an abundance of talented attackers – most notably, Jay Rodriguez, Ashley Barnes and Dwight Gayle – and the benefit of parachute payments. Expect Moore to have cash to spend in the January window to beef up his squad. West Brom have the weaponry to push Leeds all the way.
