Jarrod Bowen’s name has been hot on the lips of many Leeds United fans this week after it was reported that he was a target of Marcelo Bielsa. BBC Humberside Sport claimed that the Whites were plotting a bid to sign the 22-year-old attacker, with the Daily Mail later reporting that Hull valued their player at around £6.5million. It may or may not have been a coincidence that those reports were made public just before Leeds played Hull at Elland Road on Saturday, when Bowen would go on to score two goals in a 2-0 win for the Humberside club. Understandably, a section of the United fans were left to drool over the former Hereford attacker, with urges for Bielsa to sign him up growing louder than they were earlier in the week. Will Leeds sign Bowen next month? It’s very unlikely but if they go up this season, then maybe a switch is on the cards for the summer transfer window. Bowen would be a superb addition for the Whites.
