Jarrod Bowen would be a superb addition to the Leeds United attack in the January transfer window, but is this a move that could actually happen or something that has been leaked just to unsettle the 22-year-old ahead of the Whites playing against him and his Hull team-mates at Elland Road on Saturday. BBC Humberside Sport were first to report on Thursday that Leeds are lining up a “multi-million” pound bid for the winger ahead of the January window, even though he was linked with the Premier League in the summer and was valued at over £20million by the Tigers [Hull Daily Mail]. It’s unlikely that the local media around Hull would leak the news unless there was truth in it because it will not be helping their cause ahead of this weekend’s clash. Leeds fans will see firsthand just how good a signing Bowen can be for them, but the chances of them being able to pull off a move for this talent winger have to very, very low. Don’t get too excited about this one.
