Leeds United fell to a 2-1 loss to Blackburn Rovers at Ewood Park on Saturday as the Championship returned after the international break, but many fans have taken to Twitter to rave about the display of Mateusz Klich.
Rovers took an early lead through Danny Graham before Klich scored his fifth goal of the season with the last kick of the first-half, but Darragh Lenihan headed the winner in the second period.
Many Leeds fans on Twitter have been drooling over the midfielder’s performance v Blackburn, with some highlighting the transformation from his nightmare last season.

Bloody love Klich and how he’s come into this season. Crazy to think if Forshaw hadn’t got injured he wouldn’t be a Leeds player. Love it

OPINION
These Leeds fans seem pretty impressed by Klich’s display against Blackburn, and that is understandable. The Poland international did well to finish a brilliant, flowing team move for the Whites’ first-half goal, which was amazingly his fifth goal of the season already. Klich is providing a constant goal threat from midfield, which is a huge asset for Marcelo Bielsa. Considering the situation in which he found himself last season, with Thomas Christiansen freezing him out completely despite making the decision to sign him, this really is an incredible transformation from the 28-year-old. That being said, his performance on Saturday was not free from mistakes, with both Klich and partner Saiz giving the ball away on far too many occasions. That cost Leeds on the day as Rovers managed to break up their play and keep a hold on the game. In the end it was two set-pieces which cost them, and that is also something which needs addressing.
