Leeds United scored a late equaliser to snatch a point against Brentford at Elland Road on Saturday afternoon, and many fans have taken to Twitter to drool over the display of centre-back Pontus Jansson.
Brentford opened the scoring from the spot through Neal Maupay after Bailey Peacock-Farrell brought down Ollie Watkins, before Jansson netted a brilliant header to secure a point for the Whites.
Leeds fans have now been reacting to Jansson’s performance on Twitter, with many lavishing praise on the Sweden international for a dominant performance.

Ayling and Cooper are having a shocker consistently giving the ball away. Luckily Jansson is an absolute monster of a defender. But this has to be one of the worst refereeing performances i've ever seen. #LUFC

Jansson on form is miles ahead of any CB in this league. He's off we don't get promoted this season.

OPINION
These Leeds fans seem pretty happy with Jansson’s display v Brentford, and it is easy to see why. The Sweden international really looked back to his best against the Bees as he put in a dominant performance at the back for Leeds. The 27-year-old has not really looked himself so far this season, but this display was classic Jansson as he marshalled the Whites defence so well against a dangerous Brentford attack. He far outshone his defensive partner Liam Cooper, and helped mitigate for some poor displays on the flanks from Luke Ayling and Stuart Dallas. Hopefully he will continue to put in performances like this for the club going forward, with a strong defence key for them if they want to achieve promotion. Saturday’s display was all the more impressive when you consider that Jansson’s partner is due to give birth any minute now, and that must have been a big distraction for him before the game.
