Leeds United welcome Ipswich Town to Elland Road on Wednesday as they look to bounce back from defeat to Blackburn at the weekend, and Marcelo Bielsa must make two key changes to his starting XI.

The Whites went behind early at Ewood Park but fought back to 1-1 at half-time thanks to Mateusz Klich before conceding for the second time from a corner to lose 2-1 to Rovers.

Opponents Ipswich are coming in on the back of a 2-0 home loss to QPR, with Paul Hurst’s side having a tough season as they currently lie bottom of the table with just nine points from their first 13 matches.

Bielsa fielded a strong side against Blackburn but one which crucially saw a couple of players deployed out of position, and that must change on Wednesday.

In goal, Bailey Peacock-Farrell should start as normal.

In defence, 27-year-old Stuart Dallas must be dropped in favour of the 6ft 1in youngster Tom Pearce [WhoScored], who slots in at left-back for his first Championship start this season. This means that Gaetano Berardo moves to right-back, with Pontus Jansson and Liam Cooper retaining their places in the centre of defence.

In midfield, Kalvin Phillips must be kept in his holding role, while Samu Saiz and Mateusz Klich retain their places just in front of him.

Outside them comes another change, with Pablo Hernandez coming in for Tyler Roberts, while Ezgjan Alioski keeps his place on the left flank.

Bielsa axing Roberts, who played up front against Rovers, means that Kemar Roofe moves back into a central position, with the prolific forward wasted on the wings.

This is a Leeds side which has more than enough to destroy Ipswich and heap misery on the Tractor Boys as they look to get back to winning ways.
