Leeds United have confirmed that midfielder Ouasim Bouy has joined PEC Zwolle on a season-long loan, and many fans have taken to Twitter to hilariously react to the news.
As reported on the club’s official website, Bouy joins the Eredivisie club for the entirety of the 2018/19 season after failing to break through to the Whites first-team following a free transfer from Juventus last summer.
Many fans on Twitter have now reacted funnily to the midfielder’s exit, with many jokingly saying they are not certain that the Dutchman exists after such a poor first season at Leeds.

OPINION
Many of these Leeds fans are joking around when it comes to Bouy’s first season at Leeds, but there will genuinely be supporters out there who have not heard of the midfielder, and that shows just how poor his first season at the club was. Bouy arrived on a free transfer from Juventus and that brought with it some expectation which he has failed to live up to at all. The Dutch midfielder spent six months on loan at Cultural Leonesa last season but managed to earn just four appearances for the Spanish side, and is yet to appear at all for the Whites. This is now the third time in his career that he has joined Zwolle on loan, and it is surely likely that he will end up leaving Leeds on a permanent basis when this temporary spell comes to an end. The reasons behind Bouy’s failure in England are unknown, but the fact he has already played for eight clubs at the age of 25 suggests there is an attitude issue at play there.
