Leeds United are set to loan out three senior players this week as Marcelo Bielsa sets about stamping his authority on the squad that limped to a 13th placed finish last season, according to Sky Sports.

The broadcaster claim on their website (Wednesday, 10.16am) that the trio heading through the exit door for the 2018-19 season are all members of the first team set-up.

This Is Futbol names the senior trio most likely to be exiting this week:

Mateusz Klich

The writing is already on the wall for the Poland international. Signed last summer from Dutch Eredivisie side FC Twente for a seven-figure sum, Klich made just a single Championship start before joining FC Utrecht in the January window on loan. It would be no surprise if the 28-year-old returned to Holland for a third spell. Yorkshire Evening Post journalist Phil Hay claimed on his personal Twitter account on Wednesday that Klich is training with the Under-23s, in a clear sign new boss Bielsa doesn’t see a role for him in the forthcoming season.

Pawel Cibicki

Bar a spell either side of last Christmas when he showed some set-piece prowess, the Swede was frozen out for most of his debut campaign after arriving for a fee of around £1.5million and with hopes he could provide some attacking cutting edge. That did not transpire and recent reports, including by SportsExpressen, claim the wide man could join Norwegian side Molde FK, managed by ex-Cardiff manager Ole-Gunnar Solskjaer.

Yosuke Ideguchi

The Japan international was hailed as a landmark signing when he was prised in January from Gamba Osaka after playing a key role in his country’s World Cup qualification campaign. But Ideguchi, 21, was immediately loaned out to Spanish second-tier outfit Cultural Leonesa, where he made just five appearances and his dream of making it to Russia this summer died. Hay claimed on his personal Twitter account that Ideguchi has been training with the youth team alongside Klich. Surely, he will be loaned out again.
