Rangers

Rangers player ratings v Celtic

|

Goalkeeper and defence

Jak Alnwick – 8 – Despite conceding a massive five goals, Alnwick actually put in a decent performance for the Light Blues. If it wasn’t for him, Rangers could have found themselves in deeper trouble.

James Tavernier – 3 – Tavernier put in one of his worst performances in a Rangers shirt on Sunday. Lost the ball several times, and seriously poor in defence.

Ross McCrorie – 4 – McCrorie has been terrible since returning from injury, and looked overawed by the occasion. Still has a big future, but no doubt a lot to learn before then.

Russell Martin – 3 – Martin was atrocious again for Rangers, and there is no way they should sign him permanently this summer. Looks well past it.

Andy Halliday – 2 – Apart from a strong challenge in the opening minutes, 26-year-old Halliday showed that he is not up to Rangers quality v Celtic.
