West Ham aren’t quite out of the woods yet in term of Premier League survival, but should still have enough to avoid the drop in their remaining four fixtures.

They have some huge work to complete over the summer period and one key position that needs to be addressed is in goal.

Joe Hart is set to return to Manchester City at the end of his loan and has endured a frustrating spell at the London Stadium, where he has been involved in a number of high-profile mistakes.

Meanwhile, Adrian is not the goalkeeper to help the club move forward and up the league table, which is whether need to find a new option in the summer transfer window.

One man that should appear on their radar is Stoke City ace Jack Butland, who would be a great fit at the club.

The Daily Mail reports that the 25-year-old is one of several senior players that are likely to leave Stoke if they suffer relegation, with the club currently three points from safety.

West Ham must swoop straight in for the England international and offer him the role of number one goalkeeper at the club.

The shot-stopper has proven during his time at Stoke has has shown his worth and made a number of eye-catching blocks for a struggling team this campaign.

He is decent in possession and could have the safe pair of gloves that can help tighter up the Hammers backline.

The vocal goalkeeper should be entering the peak years of his career soon and certainly has the potential to be one of the league’s leading goalkeepers if he rediscovers his confidence.
