Leeds expected XI against Sunderland

|

Goalkeeper and Defence

Bailey Peacock-Farrell (Goalkeeper) – He looks set to remain in goal for the remainder of the season and is making a real fist of proving himself to be the number one going into next year.

Stuart Dallas (Right-back) – He has been mainly deployed at full-back under Heckingbottom and is likely to continue given the amount of injury problems.

Pontus Jansson (Centre-back) – The Swedish powerhouse is a mainstay in the heart of defence and one of the first names on the team sheet. He is bitterly disappointed with how the season has panned out, but remains a key player at Elland Road.

Paudie O’Connor (Centre-back) – The first change could see 20-year-old O’Connor handed his first-team debut for Leeds and he has been training with the senior. He could replace Mathew Pennington in defence, who was forced off injured against Fulham. O’Connor for Pennington.

Gaetano Berardi (Left-back) – Berardi is likely to remain as the left-sided defender and his experience alongside youngster O’Connor will be very helpful.
