Leeds United manager Thomas Christiansen is in desperate need of a positive result after a disappointing start to 2018 and should reinstate Stuart Dallas to the starting XI to help.

The 26-year-old has become a forgotten man at Elland Road since his injury problems, but was an unused substitute at the weekend in the 1-0 away loss to Ipswich.

He has not featured in the Championship for the Yorkshire giants since November and his return will be a key boost for the side.

The Whites currently have a whole host of injuries and suspensions in their squad, but Dallas is ready to make a timely return.

Dallas should come back into the side instantly as the left-winger and allow Ezgjan Alioski to be deployed on the right flank.

The Northern Ireland international has a brilliant work-rate and good end product, something that is currently lacking in the Leeds ranks.

He was appearing to hit top form before his injury setback and if he can recapture that he could play a major part in the club’s promotion bid on the second half of the season.

Leeds can consider fielding a new-look left wing with new left-back Laurens De Bock in the side and the tireless Dallas in front of him.

Dallas is a consistent player that can help steady the ship and get the Whites back into the play–off positions.
