Kemar Roofe completed 90 minutes in the 0-0 draw against Hull City on Tuesday night – and the Leeds United fans on Twitter ripped into him for his display.
The Whites were held to a goalless draw on their trip to the KCOM Stadium and that means they have gone through January without a single win.
Thomas Christiansen’s side are now 10th in the Championship table after picking up a point and are four points adrift of the play-off positions.
Roofe made his ninth consecutive league start in midweek and has been a mainstay in the starting XI.
The 25-year-old is a versatile attacker that can play as either a centre-forward or a right-winger, with Christiansen asking him to do the latter against Hull.
Leeds fans on social media were highly critical of Roofe’s display on Tuesday night and feel that he offered very little threat in the final third.
One supporter was so angry he asked if the club had kept the receipt for him following his £3million move to Elland Road from Oxford United in 2016.

If Roofe isn’t playing as striker I don’t think he should play. Also, anyone know how many touches Lasogga has had this half? #lufc

Roofe has been a key player for Leeds so far this campaign with 11 goals across all competitions, but came in for major criticism for his latest effort.
The Englishman will be hoping he can enjoy a strong second half of the season and play a massive role as the club aim to get back in the play-off spots.
