Charly Musonda made his debut off the bench on Tuesday night in the win over Hearts – and Celtic fans on Twitter raved about his cameo performance.
The 21-year-old has completed an 18-month loan switch to Parkhead on Monday and he got his first taste of Scottish football just 24 hours later.
He was used as a second-half substitute by manager Brendan Rodgers as his side recorded a comfortable 3-1 victory in the league.
Odsonne Edouard, Dedryck Boyata and Moussa Dembele were all on target for the hosts in the first-half as they put the game to bed.
Kyle Lafferty did get a consolation for the visitors, but the league leaders stretched their advantage to 14 points at the summit.
Celtic fans get a first glimpse of their new signing in the second-half as Musonda was introduced to the action in the 62nd minute.
The Belgian playmaker is renowned for being a dazzling attacker and he showed an instant example of his great trickery with an eye-catching backheel that carved open the Hearts defence.
Celtic fans on social media were delighted with Musonda’s impact on his debut and he could quickly become a favourite over the next few weeks.
He is a highly-rated talent at Stamford Bridge and has linked up with Rodgers’ side in search of regular first-team experience.
