Ezgjan Alioski was again given the nod to start for Leeds United in their 2-1 defeat to Derby County on Tuesday night – and the majority of fans took to Twitter to criticise his display.
Alioski, 25, was named in the starting XI for the 13th time in Leeds’ 15 league fixtures this season despite his poor recent form.
The Macedonia international played 84 minutes at Elland Road before being substituted in favour of Pablo Hernandez as he once again failed to complete a match.
Derby leapfrogged Leeds in the Championship team as they condemned the home side to their fifth league defeat in six matches, and sixth loss in seven in all competitions.
Pierre-Michel Lasogga had given United the lead after seven minutes with a low shot just inside the near post, but Sam Winnall scored two second-half goals to give in-form Derby a comeback win.
On what was another emphatic defeat for Leeds against a promotion rival, supporters pointed out where Alioski went wrong on social media.
