David Prutton has predicted Leeds United to earn a draw when they travel to Brentford on Saturday in the Championship.

Thomas Christiansen’s side have an away fixture against Brentford and will be keen to halt their recent poor form, having lost five of their last six league games.

The Yorkshire giants have dropped out of the top six as a result of their stuttering form and need a positive result ahead of the international break.

Meanwhile, Brentford have been in brilliant touch and are unbeaten in their last eight league games.

Sky Sports pundit Prutton has tipped a 1-1 scoreline between the two Championship teams at the weekend and expects an exiting match in the 5:30 kick-off.

“Don’t let the table fool you too much, this is one of the form teams in the division hosting one of the teams that are really struggling,” Prutton wrote in his column for Sky Sports.

“That being said, I think this will be a tight game on Saturday evening at what should be a lively Griffin Park, and I find it tough to separate these two. Score draw.”

OPINION

Leeds desperately need a win away to Brentford and would love to replicate the performance they showed when they beat Bristol City on the road 3-0 recently. The Whites have struggled at Elland Road recently and it may suit them playing away from home to help rediscover their top form. They will be welcoming back two important players from suspension in the shape of Gaetano Berardi and Kalvin Phillips, who should give the team a lift. Christiansen received public backing from owner Andrea Radrizzani after the latest failure at Derby, but fans could turn on the manager if they suffer another setback at the weekend.
