Leeds United have taken to Twitter to express their satisfaction after Pablo Hernandez was axed from the starting XI for Sunday’s Championship clash against Sheffield Wednesday at Hillsborough.
Manager Thomas Christiansen has made four alterations to the side that slipped to a 3-1 loss at Cardiff City on Tuesday night.
Recalled quartet Samuel Saiz, Pierre-Michel Lasogga, Eunan O’Kane and Matthew Pennington replace Hernandez, Stuart Dallas, Mateusz Klich and the suspended skipper Liam Cooper.
Hernandez and Dallas are on the substitute’s bench, while Klich does not make the matchday 18.

The headline change is the omission of attacking midfielder Hernandez, who is left out for the first time in the league this season.
However, Leeds fans took to Twitter to support the decision by Christiansen, with some saying it was a lesson learned for the manager following the midweek defeat at Cardiff.
There is a school of thought among Hernandez’s critics that he does not exert enough influence in away matches given his pedigree and technical quality.
