Rangers fans have mocked Dalcio on Twitter after the club announced that their upcoming clash against Benfica in Canada had been cancelled.
The Light Blues released a statement on their official website on Saturday evening which confirmed that the match had been called-off after Portuguese outfit Benfica pulled out of the Eusebio Cup.
Gers apologised to fans who had made plans to travel oversees to watch the match and stated that the club was in the process of seeking legal advice.
While fans expressed their frustration that the game had been cancelled a number of other supporters joked that the Portuguese side had cancelled in case they had to take back or face current loanee Dalcio from the Glaswegian club.

Dalcio moved to Ibrox during the recent summer transfer window on a season-long loan from Benfica B but has had little success breaking into the first-team.
The 21-year-old has featured in just two games since moving over the the Scottish club as he made appearances against Luxembourg outfit Progres Niederkorn in the Europa League qualifiers which ended disappointingly for the Light Blues.
The midfielder has since remained on the bench or completely left out of Pedro Caixinha’s squad in both the Premiership and the Scottish League Cup.
