Hugo Lloris (Goalkeeper) – The Frenchman should retain his place in the side and Pochettino must field his number one as Spurs look to make an impact in the Champions League.
Toby Alderweireld (Centre-back) He is an ever-present in the defence and is capable of playing as the right-sided centre-back in a back three. The Belgian will be key to trying to keep Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang quiet.
Davinson Sanchez (Centre-back) – The £42million club-record signing looked composed against Everton and should keep his place in the team. He has experience in European football from his time with Ajax and reached the Europa League final last season.
Jan Vertonghen (Centre-back) – The left-footed defender gives balance to the side and the reliable ace should be involved from the start against Dortmund.
