Newcastle United picked up an impressive 1-0 away victory against Swansea on Sunday and made it two consecutive wins in the Premier League.

The Magpies earned three points as defender Jamaal Lascelles’ scored a bullet header in the second-half to separate the teams.

Rafael Benitez’s side followed up their 3-0 demolition of West Ham with another positive result against Swansea and currently sit 10th in the league table.

The North East club were considered underdogs going into their clash at Swansea, but managed to put in a resilient defensive performance to keep out their opponents.

They now turn their attention to a home clash against Stoke in their next Premier League match and will be aiming to make it three wins on the bounce.
