Tottenham should make three changes to their side on Wednesday when they face Borussia Dortmund in the first game of the Champions League group stages.

Spurs recorded a convincing 3-0 away victory on Saturday over Everton and should go into their mid-week clash with great confidence.

Mauricio Pochettino’s side were knocked out of the groups last season in Europe’s elite club competition, but will hoping to give a better account of themselves this time around.

The North London club welcome Bundesliga giants to Wembley for the opening fixture and have the quality to beat the German outfit if they play to their maximum.

They must use their home advantage to play on the front foot and they have the firepower to brush aside a quality Dortmund team.

Peter Bosz’s side should provide a big attacking threat with the likes of Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang and Christian Pulisic, but they did lose young starlet Ousmane Dembele to Barcelona over the summer.

This Is Futbol selects the best possible Spurs XI to face Dortmund, including the three changes Pochettino should make as their defensive mainstay is axed.
