Leeds United fans have taken to taken to Twitter to call for Kemar Roofe to be recalled to the starting line-up for Tuesday night’s Championship clash against Cardiff City.
Leeds head to Wales for the top-of-the-table clash at the league summit but ahead of Neil Warnock’s third-placed side only on goal difference.
With the fixtures coming thick and fast, supporters of the Yorkshire giants are keen for manager Thomas Christiansen to make some tweaks to the side that beat Ipswich Town 3-2 on Saturday.
Many want attacking midfielder Roofe back in the team after he was dropped to the substitute’s bench for the last three league matches in the face of intense competition for places.
It came after the 2016 summer signing had scored five goals in three matches, with four of them coming as a makeshift striker before the deadline days arrivals of new first choice Pierre-Michel Lasogga and Pawel Cibicki.
Leeds fans are keen to see Roofe, 24, given a chance at Cardiff, with some saying he should come in for Lasogga as the spearhead of the attack and others keen for him to revert to his usual wide attacking role.

Defensively poor. Need Pontus back. And I’d have Roofe upfront next game. Leave Lasogga on the bench #lufc

Reckon we’ll see Jansson, Berardi and Roofe come in tomorrow. I’d be tempted to leave Pablo out then bring him on if we need. #lufc
